This one had my head scratching for a while. This flash movie had addresses written in Verdana as static text and while it showed up on stage, it didn’t show up on the exported movie. The text was set not to use device fonts and the aliased option was selected.
Looking at the size report, three fonts were exported, ‘verdana’, ‘Verdana’ and ‘VERDANA’. What the hell? I used the find and replace dialog to change ‘verdana’ and ‘VERDANA’ to ‘Verdana’. Ctrl+Enter… it works! The really weird thing about it is that if I changed the font from within the textfield it didn’t solve the problem, only Find and Replace worked. I really have no plausible explanations for this bug, I’m not going to lose sleep over it, but has anyone seen this?
