[OT] AMFPHP logo poll - who stuffed the ballots?

Posted on Sunday 10 April 2005

I have a feeling there is something fishy with the AMFPHP logo poll. Last time I checked, there were 400 votes, and now we’re at about 800. If I remember correctly, #1 had a very large lead and now it has been largely supplantedby the previous runner-up #3. I wouldn’t want to accuse anyone of dishonesty, but the numbers changed very drastically and I have a feeling someone or even several people figured a way around the double-vote protection. Can anyone confirm that they saw #1 with a decisive advance a few days ago? Am I being paranoid?

In other news I have set up a tentative map of the new AMFPHP web site at the wiki. After the logo poll, we’ll be running a web site design contest (the site will not be entirely in Flash, that’s for sure).
