PHP for .NET

Posted on Saturday 2 April 2005

This should make a few people happy: Phalanger is offering PHP for .NET. Meaning you get the best of both worlds: you get bytecode compilation of your current PHP scripts so they run much faster, you can create native Windows apps without going through the GTK libraries, and you keep the PHP language with its incredible array of extensions and very large amount of functions. The pack function should be in the next release, so who knows, an open-source Remoting framework for .NET by the end of the summer? I know that would make some people happy ;)
