Swap components extension update - now facilitates upgrading from v1 to v2 components

Posted on Monday 23 May 2005

After posting the component swapper extension, Tek suggested modifying it accommodate upgrading from v1 to v2 components. I never really used the v1 components, so I hadn’t thought about it, but it does make a whole lot of sense. Should work with all components of the v1 series but tested only with set 1 and 2 (don’t have the other ones available).

Download it here (v1.1)

Note: By the way I added Google ads to the blog because I want to get the FlashComm add-on at Media Temple for posting experiments but it’s 75$ a month so I figured ads might be the way to go. If they bother you a lot go grab GreaseMonkey for Firefox and install the AdSense blocker script.
