Because of the whole visa issue if I ever get to Seattle it’s not going to be until Friday meaning I’ll be a full 9 days late… and considering we had about three weeks to do the project, well, you do the math. So before all hell breaks loose we’re looking for someone to help me and the Seattle team out. THIS IS AN ON-SITE POSITION, in downtown Seattle.
We need an experienced Flash developer to help us develop a large kiosk application. Strong OOP knowledge is required, no script kiddies please. Involved will be:
- AS2 (lots of it)
- Creating custom components
- Interaction design (ie. making it user friendly)
- Remoting (openAMF based, although the backend is already done, but you need to have experience with the AS2 classes, especially mx.remoting.RecordSet)
- Working in a mixed Flash IDE/FAME/TextEdit+Mtasc environment
- Possibly math/physics bit-101 type stuff, although I can manage that myself if you don’t have that knowledge, but you’ll need to do more Remoting to compensate ;)
A generous compensation will be given to the person who can help us out on this SHORT-TERM (about two weeks) project. If you think you’ve got what it takes, send an email my way to $patrick->5etdemi(com), keep it short, I don’t care much about diplomas but PLEASE we need to see a portfolio.
