I’m heading to Europe for a couple of months in a bit and I need someone to take of an ongoing project of mine. Hopefully this year I won’t get caught at the border though ;)
This is one of the most challenging, interesting and rewarding project I’ve had the pleasure of working on. It is an RIA which talks to both amfphp and Fluorine, uses the ARP framework, uses tons of Flash 8-specific features and is meant to be compiled in mtasc. The class count (those developed for the app, not dependencies) for the project reaches over 100, and I fully expect it to reach the 200s by the end of the year. Once again, very challenging, but very interesting.
The ideal candidate would be located in Montreal, and would speak French. If you’re within three timezones of Montreal and speak English you may still apply, and I am practically 100% sure we won’t find anyone in Montreal so give it a shot. Of course you have to be experienced in ActionScript 2, and have been on medium-sized projects. I will mentor a candidate (if in Montreal) for a day or so to get him acquainted with the system. Full documentation is available in English, and all code has been written in English as well, so you should be able to adapt. Again, this is definitely the kind of project you want to have on your resume or portfolio. Interested candidates send an email to patrick AT 5etdemi DOT com.
